Comment:I'm kind of dissapointed with griselbrand. they could have made some super beastly interaction with im nut they mad him a drwaing powerhouse. there isn't any way that he could even counter avacyn. Sad. i don't think he'll see much play.

Comment:You have to see him like a draw spell, you cast him, if he dosent survive at least you can draw 7 cards if your life total tells you so, otherwise, if he lives, you will probably win the game via 7/7 flying lifelink !

Comment:yea buut heartless summoning ussually revolves around the runescarred demon copy combo. which allows you to search for cards anyway. griselbrand is much less effective and much to costly. besides you can't and don'twant to copy it. i could see it having play in possible mono black heartless but it wouldn't be as fast or as deadly without the blue copy and draw power. but who knows maybe there is some other card in the set that pairs awsomly with griselbrand.
